⭐ This Week in EYFS: Celebrations, Families, and Favourite Foods! ⭐
This week, the big idea question’s that we are exploring are:
✨ “What do I celebrate with my family?”
✨ “What is my favourite food?”
🎉 Exploring Celebrations
We will continue our discussions about different celebrations and how people prepare for them. Including, decorating our home corner so it is ready for a celebration!
The highlight of the week will be planning “Mrs Boon’s Surprise Birthday Bash”. The children will be fully involved in:

Designing and writing invitations

Creating decorations
-
Deciding what else we need to make the celebration brilliant
-
Thinking about music, food, and party games
This will bring our topic to life, giving the children a hands-on way to think about why people celebrate and how we can make others feel special.
📚 Stories We’re Sharing
Throughout the week, we will be reading a selection of books linked to food, families, and celebrations:

For our 2025 Christmas Performance, KPNS will be whisking you away on a Magical Christmas Journey through the Movies! 🍿🌟
We cannot wait to put on a great show, and we’d love your help in making it extra special. Please provide your child with the costume outlined for their role. All costumes should be in school by Thursday 27th November, in a clearly named carrier bag. 🎭🧥
