  • Wizard of Oz- Performance tickets

    Published 24/06/24

Over the past few weeks the children have been working incredibly hard on our whole school performance of The Wizard of OZ. They have been learning lines and songs and practising with great enthusiasm.

You are now able to book your tickets for our performance of The Wizard of Oz on the  Eduspot School Money System in the shop area. For health and safety reasons, we have a maximum capacity for the hall, so tickets will be booked on a first come, first served basis-once they are gone, they are gone!

  • Moving on!

    Published 21/05/24

Many of you will know Miss Adams - she works mostly as a Teaching Assistant with children in Y4 but also teaches other classes at KPNS. The children and families who know Miss Adams well will be sad to hear that she will be leaving KPNS after half-term to take up a teaching role in another school. Although we will all miss her, this is a great opportunity for Miss Adams and I know you will join me in wishing her every success in the future.

We are fortunate that Mrs Lees, whoregularly works at KPNS, is able to cover Miss Adams' role until at least the end of the year.

Please contact the office if you have any questions.

  • Communications are Changing at Keyworth Primary............

    Published 15/05/24

Along with other schools in our Trust, we have recently changed our system for recording Pupils information to Arbor from Scholarpack.

Not only does Arbor provide an efficient system for school it also offers a Parent portal and App, which will allow us to communicate with you more efficiently and will enable you to access your child’s details at any time.

You will be able to see easily if there is any data missing from our system and can update details directly through the portal, ensuring we always have the most up-to-date information for you and your child.  We will also use Arbor as our primary method of communicating with you via email or In-App messages.

Over time, there will be more functions available to you through the portal, eliminating the need for lots of different apps/websites.

You will be able to make payments for:

    • Trips and events
    • Top up school meal accounts
    • Purchase Uniform
    • Book and pay for after-school sports clubs and other school events.
    • Additional nursery sessions
    • Book Parent’s Evenings

We will let you know when these are available and when to stop using Eduspot, School money: all balances will be transferred to Arbor.

You will receive an email from Arbor from the beginning of next week (20th May), providing you with your login details for the Parent Portal.  As this may be the first email you have received from Arbor, please check your spam/junk folders if you have not received it by Wednesday. Your username will be your email address, as held on our records.

Please follow the link in the welcome email and complete the registration process. Once you have logged in for the first time, you will then be able to download the Arbor App for easy use on your smartphone.  We urge parents to download the app, as it enables us to send free SMS messages to those with it, as well as being able to reply.

All communications will only be sent via Arbor after the 10th June, but until this date you may still receive text messages/emails through Scholarpack.

The attachment will give you more information regarding the Portal and App.

If you have any questions, please contact the school Office.
