Before every holiday the whole school look at an issue that helps to ensure they are safe using technology in a world that is becoming so connected and reliant on technology.
Our focus for this half term is self awareness and having a positive body image.
Before you can protect yourself from comments that others may direct at you, you need to believe in yourself and be able to recognise some of the things you are "GREAT" at.
In assembly today the children will be watching this video as a starter activity and to get them all thinking about what they could say about themselves.
The younger children will then be listening to a story called 'Incredible me' and creating their own incredible me poster.
Years 3 and 4 will be working together to set themselves self esteem goals.
The years 5 and 6 children are looking at the impact media and adverts have on how they see their own images.
Please take a moment to watch the video and perhaps have a go yourselves at creating your own phrases about yourselves, after all....... we have all got to believe in ourselves!
