HOME LEARNING PACKS
Since we heard the news last week that schools in Ireland were closing, we have been preparing home learning packs to distribute in the event of school closures in England. We had intended to hold back on distributing them until we received an instruction to close from the government, or we were forced to close due to staffing issues. Although we have had no instruction to close at the moment, we have decided to distribute them today so we are prepared for any potential closures and for children who are already self-isolating.
If your children are not in school today, you could ask friends of children still in school to collect the home-learning packs. If you are at home with no symptoms of Covid-19, you could pop up to school to collect the pack. If you are self-isolating with symptoms, please contact school and we will try to find ways to deliver the packs.
If we do stay open, the packs can be used over the Easter holiday or as homework over the coming weeks and months – they will not go to waste!
Please be reassured that we are not currently planning to close, but as this is a fast changing situation we thought it prudent to provide work for children who may need to stay at home.
Please contact us on contact@keyworth.notts.sch.uk if you have any questions about teh learning packs. Our normal schooloffice@keyworth.notts.sch.uk can be used for other enquiries.
Many thanks for your support during this period of uncertainty.
