Harry Potter Book Night
Some of our little wizards enjoying Harry Potter Book Night.
On Friday night we had 97 little wizards join us to celebrate 25 Years since JK Rowling released 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone'. They enjoyed a range of activities from potion making, wizard yoga and hunting for the golden snitch to making chocolate wands, Hedwig puppets and a sock for Dobby. We finished off the evening with a game of Harry Potter Bingo in the Great Hall sat in our chosen houses.
The children had a fantastic night, and hopefully we have inspired a new generation of muggles to read one of the most famous series of books ever written. Perhaps our parents can take themselves back 25 years and read them with them?!
A huge thank you to the wonderful staff team for staying late on a Friday night after and incredibly busy week in school. Also, to the Friends of KPNS who went along with the madness and helped to prepare activities and decorate the school. You are all MAGIC!
Finally, a special mention for Rose in Year 2 who came to Mrs King and politely requested this evening just before Christmas. We hope that we managed to make it a special evening for you and all the other children who came along.
