A Wildlife WInner!

Today we were joined in assembly by the 'Spike on a Bike' land art team to celebrate a special achievement of one of our pupils.

'Spike on a Bike!’

This piece of land art was an historical moment for Keyworth and one of our wonderful pupils played a key part. When the helicopters were flying over during the Tour of Britain, he was sitting on the drop handlebars! He also did an amazingly confident interview with BBC East Midlands.

Liz, Jenny and Tracey came to present him with a prize in Assembly for not only his enthusiasm, but his real world awareness of the plight of our nationally vulnerable hedgehogs. They also spoke to the whole school about The Hedgehog Highway and what we can do to help these fascinating creatures.

We are very much looking forward to working closer with Wild Things Keyworth and the Abundance in the future. Thanks to Liz, Jenny and Tracey for giving up their time and an extra special well done to our super wildlife winner!
