At Keyworth Primary and Nursery School all the children enjoy eating their lunch together. Children have the option to stay either school dinners or bring a packed lunch.
School dinners are cooked on the premises with a varied and balanced menu through the week. Children who have specific dietary requirements- either on medical, ethical or religious grounds can be accommodated. Please inform the school office of all the relevant particulars and the school cook will communicate back how the necessary requirements can be fulfilled.
For any Dietary needs a EC46 Pupil dietary / Food allergy request form should be completed and returned to the school office.
School meals are £2.35 per day, £11.75 a week. Menus work on a 3 week rota system.
Children in Reception, Year 1 & 2 are entitled to free school meals from the government.
Packed lunches may be brought from home, but we ask parents to maintain a good nutritional base to these. We do not allow the children to bring in hot food in flasks nor fizzy drinks. Please also avoid pottery or glass containers because of the obvious breakage issue.
