Year 1 Trip to Manor Farm
We are delighted to share that Year 1 Dahl Class will be visiting Manor Farm on Tuesday 10th March to support our science topic on different animals and what they eat. This exciting hands-on experience will help the children deepen their understanding of animals, their diets, and their habitats in a fun and engaging way.
The cost of the trip is £11, which includes transport to and from Manor Farm. Payment can be made via the Arbor app, and instalments are available if preferred.
Itinerary for the Day
- 9:30am: Leave school
- 10:00am: Visit begins, including small animal sessions
- 12:00pm- 12:45pm: Lunch
- 12:45pm- 2:30: Outdoor animal visits, and time in the play barn
- 2:30pm: Return to school (children will be ready for normal dismissal time)
What Your Child Needs to Bring
- Packed lunch and a water bottle
(Please let us know in advance if you require a school-provided packed lunch.) - Waterproof coat and wellies — sturdy waterproof footwear is essential
- No gift shop money — we will not be visiting the shop
Additional Information
- All permission and payment should be completed through the Arbor payment system.
- No parent volunteers are needed for this trip.
- If your child experiences travel sickness or has any medical needs requiring medication, please inform us beforehand and ensure they have everything they need on the day.
